Meet the Team

  • Amanda Babin

    Amanda Babin began dance at the age of 2. She started dancing with Fellom in 2009 where she quickly fell in love with this amazing art. Amanda has also danced for a few years in Hammond Ballet Company’s The Nutcracker. She was an assistant teacher for multiple classes and summer workshops from 2016 to 2023, and she has worked directly with Dr. Cynthia Fellom Tricou, Dr. Martie Fellom, and Mrs. Artie Fellom Gautier, as well as the current director Désirée Wardsworth. Amanda has been part of the production crew since Fellom’s 2017 Production of Frog Prince. She has performed several solos as well as four principal roles in Fellom’s productions. Amanda has danced en pointe for six years. She now attends Southeastern Louisiana University for her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, where she will continue on to receive her Doctorate of Science in Nursing. Amanda is looking forward to teaching and helping the next generation of ballerinas grow.

  • Emma Dare Chance

    After studying classical ballet with Fellom over the past 15 years, Emma Dare Chance has cultivated a love for the effort, technique, and artistry involved in her beloved hobby. She’s delighted to be transitioning after this season’s Aladdin performance from student to teacher as she will be joining the staff at Fellom Ballet Legacy. She looks forward to working with other students and is hoping to spread her love for ballet with them. Emma Dare is a sophomore at Southeastern Louisiana University pursuing Nursing. She works with her family’s business, The Cakery. She enjoys playing piano, playing volleyball, reading, attending The Vine Church, and spending time with family and friends.

  • Emma Hood

    Emma Hood began dancing at the age of 4. She recently finished her Fellom Ballet student career as Fellom's 2023 Cinderella. She is beginning her teaching journey as a teacher apprentice in Ballet 2. She will be the Ballet 3 Monday teacher next fall. Emma is attending Aveda Institute, where she will graduate as a certified esthetician in the late summer.

  • Olivia Lowentritt

    Olivia Lowentritt has been dancing since she was 3 years old at Fellom Ballet. She graduated from Archbishop Hannah High School in 2019 and become the creative teacher for Fellom. Outside of Fellom Ballet, she also works as a choreographer and dance instructor with the New Octavians and is a member of B.C. Fields Dance Company.

  • Melanie Epuri

    Melanie began her ballet journey at the age of 11 with Hammond Ballet. In the fall of 2021, she joined South Mississippi Ballet Theatre and trained in the Vaganova Technique, with Russian ballet master, Arkadiy Orohovsky, and his wife, Katya Orohovsky. She received additional instruction from Orlando Molina of Houston Ballet in the Cuban method.

    She attended summer dance intensives, at Ballet Magnificat!, American Ballet Theatre, St. Lucie Ballet, Next Generation Ballet, and Orlando Ballet. She has trained with Elite Classical Coaching and Ballet Fest Atlanta under the tutelage of Stephanie Saland. Melanie has competed in the International Ballet Competition, Youth American Grand Prix, as well as Universal Ballet Competition. She has performed leading roles in Raymonda, Grand Pas Classique, Coppelia, Paquita, the Sleeping Beauty, and the Nutcracker.

    Melanie was a teacher at South Mississippi Ballet, instructing Vaganova, contemporary, conditioning classes, PBT (Progressive Ballet Technique), acro, and power tumble.

  • Vibriyogn Epuri

    Fellom Ballet Alumni, has been dancing for over 10 years of his life pursuing various styles of dance from Hip Hop to Classical Ballet. When Vibriyogn Discovered Ballet in 2013 at the Orangeburg Civic Ballet in Orangeburg, South Carolina, he fell in love with the art. Since then, Vibriyogn spent his highschool years studying at Hammond High School and dancing at Fellom Ballet, in Hammond, Louisiana. After graduating, Vibriyogn pursued Mathematics at Southeastern Louisiana University. In his spare time outside work as a GIS Analyst, Vibriyogn loves dancing with his wife, Melanie Epuri and taking care of their son. cription goes here
